Chinese people love to travel and for a certain segment of those families and friends that dominate the economy many are fully financially able. Jun Song though doesn't have to worry about paying for his Midwest travels as he is on a sponsored ten day Great lakes tour paid by special interest groups that want to promote more international travel for mainland Chinese.
How exactly Mr Song got selected for this free gig in unknown but I guess he is a blogger somewhere in China about cheap travels. Somehow Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Milwaukee think that giving this clown all these free perks that somehow that will translate to more Chinese travelers coing into the region despite the fact none make the top ten list of destinations .This guy has over fifty five million blog visitors and has some influence among the Chinese with his writings and he has traveled pretty much all over our region giving his insight to tribune media services. what I found interesting is that he liked Milwaukee over Chicago for much the same reason I do and make Milwaukee and its burbs home headquarters for my summers off. it is a much smaller version of Chicago with access to some of the same great cultural amnesties with easier mobility. The one-armed Song, who blew his arm out with Chinese cheap fireworks, also said that he preferred Pizza Hut to Lou zmalnati's and just this alone he loses all creditability and should be kicked out of the country. it is fanciful that they give someone like this such an extreme and luxury gift of travel thin king that it somehow will promote travel back in china to see areas that most Americans would consider fly-over areas between the real places to sightsee and be seen in this country. if he really thinks that Milwaukee is a better destination it could mean that Milwaukee paid the operators more than Chicago more than his true reflections of his observations.
