Cougar spotted in Beloit Wisconsin

Cougar Face
Off the heels of news of an African Lion roaming around Milwaukee, just to the West there was a report that a pure bred Cougar was spotted by park rangers. Whether these rangers had been drinking in the numerous bars one can find in this region is not yet been established but the men insist that they saw a huge cat and they were pretty sure it was not a Lion. This set local officials running scared and they have plastered the area sending Herb over to put signs all over the park warning citizens that there was a Cougar spotted in the are. Many of your natural habitat biologists say that these marvelous cats are moving more and more East again as housing prices are cheaper and it is an easier lifestyle. if the Cougar returns to this area it should be seen as a good thing as these animals are needed to take off the weak members of species and whether this includes the humans species is debatable. The Cougar is just returning home from the Western ranges where it had been neglected for centuries thanks to persecution from hunters needing a thrill with their coffee in the morning. I realty don't think this is related to the infamous Milwaukee Lion as that was most likely a case of some scmo letting his pet Lion off as it got to big for him to handle anymore. This Cougar and the Milwaukee Lion may be headed for a confrontation somewhere in Wisconsin and we will keep you up to date here at the Center Bear Blog(File Photo: Wisconsin DNR)
