Dunkin Donuts will not deliver to peoples homes despite what business press reported

Chuck Woodruff
News came out last month that Dunkin Donuts is eying opportunities to deliver. This plan will never go through and most likely it was eyeing actually big office contracts for events and so forth and never likely delivering to residential addresses as the costs would be astronomical. This was just news this company knew would get it some free advertising for this day in June as this donut chain was never serious about home deliveries. perhaps Dunkin Donuts was looking at the possibilities of serving some of their big accounts and possible corporate catering events as large companies never really have to cut back on spending as they insist the public companies and utilities.

"Delivery is clearly a big opportunity," Dunkin' Brands Chairman and CEO Nigel Travis told CNBC's "On the Money" in an interview.
"We're now developing mobile ordering. We're doing a private test. We'll move to a more public test later this year," he said. "We'll probably launch mobile ordering sometime next year." With the amount of locations this franchise holds this idiot knows that ther eis little chance of this program being initiated for the company but for a few select elite downtown locations near corporate offices where they may make the foolish decision to have a party and order the shitty products from Dunkin Donuts. Who the hell is Nigel Travis is trying to fool and if you think they will be delivering donuts to homes in Birmingham or anywhere USA then you have had more than white sugar in your coffee. Dunkin Donuts has more of a chance of developing their own mobile phone than actually implementing a home delivery system like they were some pizza chain.
