Mitch Daniels afraid to challence Indiana Governor Mike Pence on Syrian refugee debate

Gerald Jasper
Mitch Daniels was a horrible Governor for the state of Indiana and was a name that was often thrown into possible presidential contention possibilities through the years but this dream of his and his followers has faded. he has been a man who proudly proclaimed the Syrian roots of his grandfather and often received awards for his actions in improving the lot of Arabs and their cause both internationally and domestically. However, he has been silent about Governor Mike Pence's recent decision on not allowing Syrian refugees settle in the state of Indiana. About thirty other governors have also said that they will not let Syrian refugees into their state and former Governor Mitch Daniels could come out and make a statement critical of these measures that have been harshly condemned by many in the media. Mitch Daniels though now heads Purdue University as president and given recent developments in Missouri he has his hands full already dealing with massive student protests that can take his cush job out from under him on any whim when needed. Mitch Daniels hasn't said anything to counter the extreme view of his predecessor because he wants to keep the Daniels political brand great for potential Republican voters down the line wherever the jerk decides to take a career path down the road. Perhaps he wants to also look good for a potential Syrian ambassadorship and serve president Bashir Assad down the line in some capacity when things settle down in Syria.
