Cab drivers in the city say the final nail to the coffin for their business s occurring at O'Hare airport. As I look for a hammer to help shut it the other day cab drivers were complaining loudly that ride sharing services Uber and Lyft are causing major traffic jams at the airport and threatening tjeir livelihood. taxi drivers are belly aching that they now have to share wait time at the airport with these more efficient ride programs and if anything caused traffic in Chicago or other major cities it is the sight of taxis often driving with no fucking passengers. Mohammed Moshini said on Fox32 that all this traffic slowing down is from Uber drivers who now have free reign and hopefully will put many of these useless and tax dodging foreign independent taxi men out of business and back to the Middle East.
Moshini was one of many taxi drivers that just greedily concentrated on the airport and fares and use to make ten trips a day but now it is down to six as other options are available for people on how they are moved around. I still say tis is good and giving people a choice who or what they get into a car and decide who to share space with is an excellent alternative. the hypocrisy of cab companies and the hundreds of drivers who idle their engines complaining that Uber is causing traffic and stress at airports is absolutely and totally ridiculous. These cab drivers need to get an education and perhaps a new occupation and try to fill actual shortages in the economy that require sill and soft management. perhaps some of these fucks should go into health care and nursing.
