Wayne Besen is part of the liberal media run to support rich bureaucratic urban elites and he went on a tremendous rant on his little-listened to Chicago radio program. he said that Chicago was in decline and losing the George Lucus museum to California bodes bad for the city of Chicago because there is one less expensive museum crowding out the lakefront view in the city of Chicago.
The moronic gay talk show host showed his ignorance on realizing the lakefront has been and always will be a public access and that wealthy people like George Lucus can take their fantasy fiction nonsense elsewhere and more appropriately to Hollywood hills somewhere out there. There was no need nor reason except filling some peoples pockets for even a contemplation of a silly ass movie museum to be built in this great city. 
museums are suppose to be places on knowledge and not temples to some man whose biggest claim to fame is making a movie about space soldiers and that had been his dream since he was eleven. Fuck George Lucus and others including this gay wad Besen who think the rich and powerful should have every idea supported and built. Besen cannot believe that the group friends Of The park aon a total victory standing up against big money and their silly attempts to put a George Lucus glorifying museum on the Lake Shore next to "real" museums of science and historical artifacts. Chicago will be better off without this bullshit and Wayne Besen's assertions this is bad for business as people would of spent another day on the city just to go to this one museum shows in all practicality that this man must smoke a ton of dope prior to his broadcasts. The thing that is such a joke about the Lucus museum is that its artifacts would of been behind glass and it would of been a lame parody of real mankind artifacts and not narratives of false stories and characters that never existed. I mean really a museum to have jawas and 
Tusken raiders. the only reason this museum of bad displays was even considered was because this guy is a billionaire movie mogul and he felt his work should be visually displayed as something akin to a ahhh display of Mongol weaponry or Viking shipbuilding. George Lucus and his ilk are raiders no doubt but one to it that should not have public space and a temple of public funds dedicated to it and luckily Chicago had this group of lakefront preservationists that prevented this travesty and projection of this billionaires lame storyteller ego in Chicago.
