Deandre Jordon received a huge mega-million dollar contract some years back and the sporting world pondered who the hell was this guy with this sports royalty name getting paid that amount of money. Deandre Jordon has been under the radar for having this name and playing in the NBA with him being the butt of jokes among NBA owners such as Mark Cuban and others.
Deandre in particular wanted to show the NBA owners that he deserved more money than Michael Jordon got paid in the eighties and that Deandre is a Jordon in his own right. Deandre is no Michael Jordon but nonetheless he is a Jordon in his own right-- a totally different type of basketball player that the former iconic Chicago Bull superstar and who singlehandedly made something like basketball at the Olympics possible. A Marc Cuban basically made it nothing possible in sports world and arena except using the system to make himself more valuable and ownership of sports franchises more expensive for the mega rich. 
Deandre hopes to put a new exclamation mark in the Jordon basketball legacy with a gold medal this year as his seven points proved crucial in a scare against the French national tea, Team USA eked out a 100-97 victory against the French team that was not intimidated by the American team and their earlier dominance in previous smashing of international teams in the Rio Olympics. The legacy Jordon has to face playing with the legendary game could take its toll on the average player but then again DeAndre is a Demonster player along the boards and can pull a rebound with anyone using his power for stability and has the grace of a crow flying don the court.
