Sports writer Rick Morrissey was bothered by a mine earlier in spring training in march. Chicago Cub manager Joe Maddon loves trying to brighten up the mood in what is otherwise a boring sport and during stretches a mime was brought in the festive the mood. The conservative sports columnist though doesn't like seeing things that are different and Morrissey wrote how this didn't forbid well for the upcoming season as many pundits had predicted the Chicago cubs to win the world series. the last I checked the cubs still had the best record in baseball and this season has proved to be a major success on and off the field for the Chicago Cubs organization. One can hardly blame though the paranoid nature of Chicago's baseball fans and sports writers such as Rick Morrissey who believe in a higher-power and superstition I personally think on this day he wrote the Mime story Rick was having trouble finding a story or something to write about doing countless boring interviews on baseball and even for the men covering this sport they truly must realize this sport is nothing like rugby and following the Queensland reds and the intense real action and smashmouth play of this team and sport. American dickwads like Rick Morrissey though are resistant to change so what you have is forty thousand fools packing a stadium eating cheap pork dogs from a massive dirty sprawl farm and a bad lame sport throwing balls and swinging bats. One can see why a Rick Morrissey would blame a mime for his teams failure when his favorite sport is baseball and he has to cover this boring shit day in and out instead of something really physical, brutal and exciting as the Queensland Reds or just about any other Rugby team out around in the world.
Rick Morrissey dismayed about the time a mime time hung around the Chicago Cubs one spring training day
