Phillip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers blow a big lead and will not be going to the Super Bowl

Dave Berkson
Every year Phillip Rivers sits on the san Diego bench and wonders when his time will come. The San Diego Chargers have had some good years and some bad years in recent years. Phillip Rivers has had some good years in recent years and some bad years and in week one his team got off to a huge lead. Rivers was throwing left and he was throwing right and gaining yardage and touchdowns at an amazing rate last Sunday. Rivers was about to chalk up and easy victory and for a few minutes he was thinking about next weeks game and a potential MVP season for himself. perhaps Phillip Rivers was even thinking of going to the Super Bowl for once in his pathetic playing career.Image result for philip rivers week one chiefs september 2016  Actually Phillip Rivers has put up some good numbers in the quarterback league and without quarterbacks and their big numbers would Americans want to watch obese ball dominated by loud-mouth Black scary dudes? I am not sure. Phillip Rivers boat topside in a river  though had his teammates on defense soil his successful opening week and the defense totally collapsed and the Kansas City chiefs made an amazing comeback winning his crucial week one AFC West battle between these two eternal rivals of the gridiron. a San Diego Chargers battling the Kansas City Chiefs is the equivalent of the Queensland Reds battling the British and Irish Lions of the rugby aussie league mates. river's couldn't believe these fuck ups cost the game and after it he threw his helmet down in disgust and kicked the water barrel over on its topside.  This may be another long year for old man Rivers and king Phillip will not be going to the Super Bowl this season with a team that can't even hold a big lead.
