In rural backwater Jiaxing province wrestling bulls and beating them around is culturally a new tradition for the rural Chinese. Bull wrestling events are held from time to time with the goal of bullying a bull and overpowering its head into submission is celebrated by the local hicks.
Their faces etched with concentration each of men grabbed the horns of a bull and attempted to wrestle them in a small fenced off circle in front of a cheering crowd on Saturday in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province.
Bullfighting is growing in popularity in China - matches used to be held by farmers for small change, but now they can fetch 50,000 yuan (nearly $8,000). The bulls are butchered and killed and the local Chinese of this province proclaim their version of bull fighting is more humane as they beat the bulls to a pulp. this gives the young and rare strongman of Chinese countryside something to do aside from learning mathematics and pull rice paddies all day but make no mistake this is another animal spectacle of harassment and over-powerament. One Chinese wrestler named Kunchi is able to suplex the beasts and his popularity is gaining traction outside of Jinxing and through the rest of the Chinese civilized sporting world. he has even caught the eyen of American fake-wrestling mogul Vincent K McMahon about a possible move to the states and to have opportunities to grapple with human beings. Chinese bull fighting is much different from its Spanish counterpart but the mistreatment of right Bulls still occurs and is pragmatic for a nation trying to move into the modern world and away form bizarre cultural local festivals and traditions such as bull wrestling which is more bullshit than the American form of pro wrestling
