Dre and Black Cat didn't even know One Man gang was already under contract with WWF when he gave match to Bubba Rogers

  Aside from being a hater of a particular professor from California I also happen to be a eighties wrestling expert . Dre and the Black Cat are podcasters who don't use their real name and who just talk about wrestling in the eighties. Dre and Cat recently brought up one of my favorite wresters of all tie local hero man called the One man Gang. This five hundred pound mass of humanity roamed the streets of Chicago busting ass long before he was discovered by the wrestling circus circuit. Dre and the Black Cat are professed wrestling experts especially of this era but the two podcasters missed a very important element when reviewing a classic match between One man Gang and Big Bubba  Rogers which  was aired by UWF pro wrestling shortly after they were bought off by the National Wresting alliance.

The two old school wrestling experts didn't realize that One Man Gang lost this match because this was his swan dance and he was about to make the move the same week to the World Wresting federation. Now you would expect two guys who make a big production and have a studio to likely know this as claiming to be pro wrestling experts, but somehow Dre and the Back Cat didn't know this was One Man Gangs last match in the NWA. OMG wanted nothing to do with the NWA and he knew that he would be lost in the shuffle and likely never be taken serious as a heavyweight wrestling contender.One Man Gang basically had to lose this match and hand over the title belt to a wrestler who was going to remain with the new Mid-South UWF that was now under new ownership and basically was going to totally change rosters and story lines over night. This match up between two men of a combined one thousand pounds was one of the greatest all tie pro wrestling matches of all time excluding Gorgeous Georges beating of Pierre "the boot" Dumont back in 56. Countless generations of dweeb teenagers from the eighties and now turkeys in their forties and fifties will never forget this match which most likely was staged and pre-determined going in as the massive One Man Gang dropped worse than a Sonny Listen against Muhammed Ali back in 64

Dre and the Black Cat called this match pretty well but they need to get their facts straight if they are going to do an old school podcast and then not know exactly all the details of events that occurred both inside and out of the ring and organizations that were consolidating and where workers like the beast OMG was headed.
