Monster beverage has seen a slight decline in sales and operating revenue and the hit to the stock of Monster beverage has been hit as investors have lost some money from this once darling of the stock markets. The beverage industry had pushed these bad drinks to the hearts and minds of your teenager and until recently the prospect looked good for these sugary energy kids.
Then the kids started to die. The big beverage and beverage marketing industry became worried about rumors of regulation and eventual lawsuits went after the money these dream companies had accumulated from massive marketing campaign directed towards young adults that didn't mention the numerous studies and claims form researchers showing the ill affects of consuming these potential lethal addictions and product. The lawsuit was filed by the same team of lawyers that filed a lawsuit on behalf of the family of Anais Fournier, a 14 year old girl who died after consuming Monster Energy Drinks in December 2011. This was followed the next year by another teens death after he consumed two of these cans and went for a jog and he dropped dead like he was 71 instead of 17. More of these lawsuits are sure to follow as the United States of Advertising continues to mislead people about what they are selling in form of these energy drinks which are not actually energy but just loaded candy sweetener. Approximately 5,000 teens and young adults are admitted to hospitals every year due to caffeine overdoses. Some of them are fatal. Caffeine causes heart rates as well as blood pressure levels to increase in addition to accelerating dehydration. All of these factors place stress on the heart and can create arrhythmias that may lead to cardiac arrest. This is particularly true if someone has an underlying and minor heart problem that may not have been diagnosed previously. all it all though Monster is allowed to peddle this snake oil out of love for money and making a few dollars and then reinvesting it in marketing campaigns and into other worthwhile events such as BMX races and UFC fighting; some culturally very rich, important and intellectual things to promote for a society.. 
Monster beverage and Red Bull and all these other sugar energy drinks lie about their product in order to reach its sales goals and money potential ignoring the regular consumption (daily, for example) may have adverse health effects: Food researchers started wondering what the fuck these kids were drinking and soon announced the ingredients used as totally repulsive. The kids were drinking pure sugar and the increase amounts of milligrams of caffeine were sure to have a detrimental effect on kids and dozens of kids have died after using these drinks and to lawsuits had to be settled with Monster Beverage paying a major settlement for a cope of families whose teenage sons died after drinking the product and dropped like a flea as if they had just drank Drano. This is some shit that doesn't need tlo be in a truck clogging the highways nor needs to be on 7 11 shelf next to Doritos and the corn puffs.
