An eight-legged pest native to central Europe somehow found its way to Kansas City and as a bug exterminator I am really worried about this pest spreading throughout the Midwest. while it would be good for business. the microscopic insect travels though the Oak Leaf and has an ability to bite humans causing swellness and redness on peoples skin lasting two weeks and makes the bed bug and mosquito bites seem like a cat lick.
The oak-Leak itch mites can easily be blown like dust in the wind in Kansas ..Just like Dust in the wind ..and bite anything they touch. the itching experiences have been described by some as like walking on poison Ivy. there are millions of red oak and pin oak trees in the greater Kansas City area as mall developers have not been able to destroy massive wild habitats and plant Indian-owned gas stations and cigar stores all over the place. half of the residents of Crawford County have reportedly been infected with these mites and if you have relatives coming from this area in time for thanksgiving make sure you air brush them thoroughly before allowing them into your residence. This is a nasty mite you don't want taking refuge in your home for the winter
