Sam Seder had Nelson Denis on his program bitching about how tough Puerto Rico has had it under American administration and so forth. The author of the hit book called "The War Against All Puerto Ricans" basically said that Puerto Rico is still a colony in the sense it cannot make trade deals with foreign nations and is basically getting screwed under by the United States as it could only buy america and so forth. Denis complained that the Jones act prevents Puerto Rico being rich like Cubans and that American goods are forced upon Puerto Ricans as eighty percent of the goods at marked up prices has forced a debt that Puerto Rico faces today as they are not allowed to import Chinese cheap crap as the rest of America enjoys in cheap goods and so forth.
Puerto Ricans are prevented from negotiating prices to what comes from import boats and Denis says all imports cost twenty percent more for the registration of goods into Puerto Rico. of course foreign nations likely would also mark up prices of product to ship as it is costly to move stuff to this small remote island that few care about. In listening to Nelson Denis speak on Sam Seders program I think most Puerto Ricans don't even care about this trade shipment nonsense and Sedar and Denis's claim that Puerto Rico would prosper if they controlled their own shipping network is absolutely absurd, Mr Denis complains that there are so many Walgreen and Wal Mart in Puerto Rico due to this american favoritism in business and that Puerto \Rico is the fifth largest market for goods and services but these clowns don't say this is mostly due to America own debt being spent into Puerto Rico and not the false narrative of wealth extraction that Seder and Denis mislead about the ties and connection between Puerto Rico and the mainland. basically these guys don't like that Puerto Rico is more of a state than an independent state and Mr Denis call or prediction for an eventual uprising doesn't make sense to a people free to migrate to the mainland and make financial gains getting preferential immigration advantages and practical de facto citizenship. the people of Puerto Rico prefer this arrangement and this dick licker Denis doesn't like it that there are American business that also gains advantages as with the migratory Puerto Ricans going back and forth from the mother island to Florida, new Jersey, and New York. If Mr Denis doesn't like this arrangement then he should make like Fidel Castro and make off with a bandit army uprising agianst American business interests and then he can have a nice room and view in a prison in mr castro's homeland of Cuba.
