Jim Hightower is crazier than an armadillo and he has been battling corporatism for decades through the media and various books. he talks alot about the rich and the welfare they get including how crazy Coyotes and wild coyotes are shot and paid for by the government so millionaire ranchers don't lose any of their precious livestock and in his late nineties book called" Theres Nothing In The Middle Of The Road But yellow Stripes and Dead Armadillos" the reader gets a sense of the work which is classic and which is Jim Hightower. Jim talks about how the workers were getting shafted even back then and bonuses and executive pay skyrockets as these CEOs get rewarded for job destruction and destroying communities with their dictatorial power.
Jim Hightower remarks that the money establishment was going to make things worse instead of better for the average person and this fact has become more and more of a reality since this book was written. he bashes the mainstream media as a mouth piece only covering and reporting of what the billionaire class wishes for them to broadcast. Jim predicts the continuing rollback of big agribusiness and other polluters hoping to make profit and have a government that will not hold them liable for any environmental damages their industries pollute n drinking water and streams or the air. i also talked about the ability of billionaire spots owners just starting to get the pubic to foot the bill for construction of stadiums that they would then rent out and mass profit for themselves and nit share any of this money with the public but keep it in their bank accounts. This is just one of his many books often with ridiculous long titles that are great reads no matte how old as everything he mentions is still relevant and just has different names and different players still abusing the system causing corruption and greed to spread in all aspects of this casino culture and global twisted philosophy.
This has by all obvious accounts has continued and only gotten worse to this day with finally some push back against sports domination and abuse of our tax dollars for new stadiums every twenty years. perhaps no better author in the fight against the billionaire folsk and and the class war being waged agianst people globally exists.
