Rick Telander and other columnists are becoming more and more disgusted in the pay for play attitude running athletic departments of the nations big colleges and the idea that Nick Saban making 11 million dollars a year is offensive. shoe companies and incredible wasteful money thrown into TV rights packages are primarily the cause of these outrageous fortunes. these head coaches make millions basically form interns bashing their skulls on the field at tax-exempt institutions of higher leaning but in which have been hijacked by the oligarch corporate sports executives.
Telander says Saban and other high-priced asshole coaches of an unregulated TV and event industry filled with corruption. The banking class also rewards these sporting masters with flush fresh money from their printing presses given an excuse for billionaires and collegiate presidents to gain an influx of money towards their direction through play of their collegiate slaves. Rick Telander is disgusted at how sports is going and he puts blame on men like Donald Trump for pushing an economic agenda and creating a ponzi scheme of sports spending that screws the average fan and tax payer in the long run. A Nick Saban should be making no more than two hundred thousand a year and if government ran college sports he wouldn't receive a salary as much and this pay for one guy is the result of the greed and what happens when you let the private world run things and sports in both the professional and collegiate level and is why it is deserving of major reform. College presidents are in cahoots with sports gear sellers and work in synergy to make most of the highest paid public employers college football coaches instead of someone more important for the masses and serving the public. telander worries that eventually the board and college presidents at Northwestern and Depaul will decide sports matters more than academics and eventually colleges will just be overtaken and run over by the corporate class. A presidential run for Rick Telander is a practical solution and possibility to address this problem
