Georgia Dunn's comic strip called breaking cat News looks like a school student drew it. This comic strip exemplifies the state of the comic art world and to see sit like this syndicated and gain traction in the world of comic strip news print is dispiriting.
This may be the worse cat comic after Garfield and I cannot believe how bad some of the comic strips creations put forth these days appearing in the Sunday funnies. Georgia Dunn thinks of silly ideas and uninteresting topics that her various household cats would talk about and deliver news of one another daily. the backgrounds are no existent and this comic strip has no witty entertaining value and will never be confused with Calvin and Hobbes. the cats look more like rats in this strip and I don't recall every seeing the feline species drawn so ridiculously in comic art form in all my years of studying this genre.
Georgia's comic strip is so bad it make some think perhaps she comes from an influential family n order to get this garbage out to the dwindling newspaper subscriptions throughout America. It would be one thing if this strip had clever caricature drawing as the reader can by pass lame story lines and unprovoking material but upon looking at several strips on-line of Breaking News cats is is horribly drawn and would get a C in Mr Ludenfdorff's cartooning 101 class in Windell Middlebrooks High School
