Carson Palmer ponders his future and wonders how many more injuries and concussions he can sustain while trying to remain in the league of American football. As are usual annual Monday morning quarterback Super Bowl realization and prediction begins again of this blogs fantasy football Superbowl talk begins for another year, we hope to see some of our favorite quarterbacks and star wide receivers get into the Super Bowl.
Only two quarterbacks and four wide receiver will realize and start in this game and just maybe this year it will have Carson's ribs and Larry's foot playing football in February. I have always predicted that the Cardinals some day will make up for their lack of Superbowl and championship appearances and go on a long string of success much like the New England Patriots have done so once being a likewise loser sports organization for a long time. Mr Palmer and famed wide receiver Lawrence Fitzgerald know their window of opportunity in playing in the Super Bowl is closing and this year I put 9-7 odds that they bounce back and make the playoffs. The Arizona Cardinals had a tremendous years a few back and were poised to return and make their second trip to the big game but blew it in the playoffs and Palmer's grit and courage to keep playing and taking tackles is something to be respected. Carson has been putting huge numbers in the statistics department but it has yet to been rewarded with a Super Bowl ring he so longs and desires to wear on his trigger finger.
Carson Palmer and his aging star wide receiver need a lot of help from the Arizona defense and for them to step it up this year if Carson's wet dream of playing in the Super Bowl comes to pan out and realized this year. Mr Fitzgerald is one of the last hold overs the last time the former Chicago cardinals team now based in Arizona went to the Super Bowl against Big Ben's Steelers team which seems like a generation ago. Arguably Larry Fitzgerald may be the greatest wide receiver of all time and the tenacity of both of these hall of fame players to reach the ultimate sporting event in the world this winter may be a ticket for oth of these long time NFL standouts
