Joe Mande came on the Dough Boys podcast the other week and praised Dunkin Donuts in an hour log discussion of this ever-expanding donuts chain with an identity problem. Joe Mande and the Dough Boys Nick Wiger and Mike Mitchell made the observation that while some of Dunkin donuts products have gone down hill such as their starchy bagels the reliability of this chain is undeniable and basically this podcast was a hours worth of praise and advertisement for this chain. Wiger said that he trusted Duken Donuts and hopes it has success going into California as he doesn't care much for the independent coffee and donuts chains that are all over the Golden state and are in the cross hairs of this global conglomerate. Joe Mande is some comedian from out on the Left Coast and he should defend the indies owned mostly by Asian people like himself as he looks like a filipino.
Mitchell spoke at lengths at how much he loves the water coffee and processed once a day donuts and they gave this company five stars despite talking the history of it and how Fred the Baker doesn't bake it three times a day as the old commercials claimed. what was surprising though is these supposedly hip foodsters in Cali would somehow not refer and defend the donut indies and all of them being unique centers with different names and this pretty much shows that these two clowns Wiger and Mitchel are corporate paid hacks reviewing and giving positive credence to all of these large corporations and fast food joints they rarely really criticize.
