Dr Nathan Hagens still playing poker everywhere and doubts reports that electric cars will be ubiquitous by 2030 because of the resistance of car lovers

Motherboard magazine or webzine had a story about the robot revolution and how it will come for the car culture so beloved by people that now days pretty much is stuck in traffic in many congested areas. Our very own Dr Nathan Hagens of  Minnesota University was quoted after months of google searches on this blog's part to find out what one of the original prophets of doom was up to.
Nathan has heard the report  that cars will eventually become cheap and ferried everywhere by driver less networks making it so cheap to hail a ride that car ownership would be a waste , however Nathan is skeptical that the automation of transportation will be fatal to these large car manufactures and oil industries as a report states on Motherboard.com. the report by two individuals named Tony Sebu and James Arbib predict the transportation revolution with massive amounts of electric self-driving cars traversing the roads on calls for individuals will occur sooner than thought as governments and business realize the cost-saving breakthroughs of this new mode of transportation for its citizens over the expensive  and polluting individual car ownership model that does nothing but demand continual repair of roads and so forth.
Nathan Hagens says people quitting their cars would be liking to people quitting poker and card playing, which he does all of the time in his spare time becoming a distinguished big-time money player of the game. The University of Minnesota and former Lehman brothers Vice president says the scenario played out by this report depends heavily on self-driving network working within a clear regulatory framework.
Dr Hagens wonders if people are willing to do what is right and make this switch as too many Americans and car addicts enjoy the freedom of moving and choosing to make random quick stops between destinations that may or may not be available with a new electric car type model. the report says individual car ownership rate are already slipping and will further slip as car manufactures will be unable to make profits form rural folks refusing to change and continue to drive fossil-fuel toxic producing vehicles and eventually even rural areas will have to adapt or they can just ride about on their horses. These areas will not have the money to sustain their preference for big trucks and so forth and will eventually have to follow the model of cities in finally curtailing the scourge of traffic and smog. Dr Nathan wishes to play poker constantly and this is why you do not see him mentioned and quoted as he was a few years back and it is good to see him take some time out and speak to Motherboard.com of this important topic and changes coming in the future.
The collapse of oil can further spell doom for fossil-fuel vehicles and the geo-political gains of our country not having to deal with brutal backwards oil countries will be a huge impact and cost-saver in its own right leaving us with less worries and dudes like Nathan Hagens more time to worry about poker winnings than economic collapse of civilization due to oil industrial outputs always with a chance for a snarg. The robot automation of automobiles is coming and the only debate is not if this will occur but how ling will it take for civilization and countries to adapt and make this time important and cost saving program infrastructure in place.
