Social Critic Criticism The rise of the Junk store Goodwill Salvation Army stores

Woody Underwood
More and more a suburban feature is the junk used clothing and junk store all over America as Americanism seem to always embrace junk and buying used stuff. I never understood how these thrift stores spread but one can only conclude that it is most likely a corporate attempt to undercut traditional clothing stores as more and more these retail clothing outlets seem to be going extinct and an exclusive part of the high-end malls. These stores offer nothing and as Tower Records and Borders closes the replacement of resale junk stores clearly illustrate what corporations think certain areas filled with these recycled retail outlet. Bascucally companies are saying poor  areas are only deserving of used junk not even worth production, shipment, manufactur of new material.
In their place of clothing stores though Goodwill junk stores are proliferating across America as many people think they are doing a good thing shopping at these places thinking proceeds are going to help the needy. Instead they are going to CEO Jim Gibbon and Mark Curren who gives himself millions in annual compensation while paying the bare minimum to disables workers shoe get peanuts in this disgusting corporation trying to hide the fact it is not a charity. Again the question to ponder ius why would Americas wish to purchase used clothing and junk items? Goodwill and Salvation army stores do not generate the much needed tax dollars for communities and their locations should be resisted and restricted in communities as nothing smells of poverty and decline of an area than one inundated with pay day lan stores, car lots, storage centers, fast food outlets and the beloved Good Will thrift junk stores across America.
