Dre and the Black at and the Dough Boys say nothing of Long John Silver's closing on Touhy Avenue in Skokie and real reason MIke Ditka's dog stand failed

The Dough Boys Nick Wiger and Mike Mitchel do a podcast where they talk about fast food and they recently did a tribute to Portillo's and its domination with a live program in the Logan Theater in Chicago. Likewise the Old School professional wrestling podcast also is based in Chicago and from time to time make mention of the social problems and eateries in the area often noticing old structures and buildings that use to be fast food restaurants and now host pay day loan left sharks.
Dre and the Black Cat sometimes take time away form talking about old professional wrestling matches from the eighties to marvel at the number of former Long John Silvers that host cigar shops and convenience marts of all types. the Black Cat has even seen many Mexican restaurants and Indian groceries made up of the former Long John  Silver's using Americana tax payer money and corporate spending and fleeing to essentially get a free building to open and run a business that mainly caters to their individual taste and doesn't benefit the community at large.
The Dough Boys also praised Portillos which is now a hedge fund organization ownership average franchise and really not that great and they spoke how Mike Dtika failed as a hotdog stand because of Dick Portillo. Mike Ditka failed in his hot dog restaurants because he was a hot dog but didnt have the current athletic playing ability to back it and was a jerk as people found out what he was like in person. Few investors ever want to invest money into a dog stand owned and with the moniker of Mike Ditka regardless of a Super Bowl or not.
