Hogans heroes season five episode 13 or 14 had to be one of the best of all of of this classic World War II programs that was based on a concentration camp. The show features Private Mojo Harris and his heroes as the gang of saboteurs worked out of a German prisoner of war camp and Colonel Hogan and Private Harris lead the grew in an underground resistance force against the German war empire. This episode had it all and a unique storyline that was lacking by season five
it included an appearance by Major Hosteler who was always a nemesis to Colonel Klink and Harris's Heroes and whenever the Gastapo Major is involved you know this is going to be a good episode of Harris Heroes. This episode also had a tremendous take down of Colonel Hogan as Carter was portraying a German soldier messenger with one of them motorcycles with a sidecar which is cool and always is cool
This was Andrew carter episode and the actor played by Larry Hovis really shined in this episode and all of Heroes as he was one of the few cast members able to actually pass as a German and he played that role effectively our data indicating that he was called 87% of the time in this series to portray and pretend to be a German whether it be a citizen or SS Luftwaffa. There is no t too much more to say about this great episode of Harris Heroes and as usual Carter and Harris were excellent in their portrayal on this program and this ranks as the best episode by far in season five
