In Episode 4 of season five or six of the great police detective show Barney Miller we again catch a glimpse of the future. The detective Wojohciwski or something is showing Barney Miller in what looks like a cell phone and the coming glimpse of people showing other people their own phones that has becomes symbol of modernity is captured exclusively on this television show that often predicts many things to come. The fact that Barney Miller would capture this annoying and regular scene in both the work place and any space is further evidence that the people who scripted and produced this excellent comedy knew full well what was
coming in the future with the development of portable tech and ability of others to show people something smaller than a shoe box and would fit in their hand Was it an actual early smaller version f a cell phone back in the day of Barney Miller. Who knows? Barney Miller was around when the really bog bulky phones were coming out and
being developed and maybe somebody had a early experimental version walkie talking type early flip phone in the mid seventies and this is what Wojohowciek was ahhhh sowing Barney Miller in this time and age of this particular episode. Will cell phones become smaller in the future where basically you just flick this disposable ship that eventually goes into the brain of people where the anatomy of actually reaching a directing a gadget to the inspector as was done in Barney Miler will no longer be necessary. The coming brain chip flick technology is coming which may make all smart and dumb phones obsolete is upon thy and thus future cannot be denied and is absolute in tech.
