Baxter Lomax
It appears the front and is finally come for Bertha's old family and bar and gift store on Milwaukee Avenue and Wheeling this bar did not even have a bathroom or any running water and was the most odd looking business I had seen for some time. Bertha owned this damn in bar near the Palm Milwaukee airports in Wheeling for almost 80 years the store was part gift store part
dive cheap drinking and it was only a matter of time before the village finally decided to shut this place down. The building and the apartments above it appears to still be occupying but the bar itself as Bertha sold a lot of junk and novelties that were made in
China and the beer she sold was among the worst and the usual suspects of Miller and Bud products. I believe she might have one or two beers on Tap but it was mostly bottled beer on the sale at this bar this bar had a unique looking was a favorite often being
labeled as an old person's bar and indeed a few times I stopped by these people looked well past their prime. It is a shame as a bartender who works at the Itasca Inn in beautiful Itasca, Illinois behind Three guys pizzeria, to see old bars like this in family business kicked out and will likely replaced as many long time bars and pubs in the
Illinois area is he ever increasing foreign food restaurants. We have long ethnic restaurants often are scams of people using and being subsidized by their own governments and indeed that has been reported numerous times that the Thai governments openly invests and funds Thai restaurant owners in the United States and some sort of weird soft power and to push their culture when a nice All-American hot dog stand or burger joint could easily has
occupy the same space if an American got the funding the end of places like the dam in can be expected in this corrupt state of Illinois that gives preferences to people and money who are born overseas to open up their preferred businesses there are most often smoke shops or again restaurants that only their ethnicity desire and want is a dish for the most part Bertha would not be selling any more Patrick Kane bobble heads or worn sex gadgets along with her bud and shit Bud Light beer. Whether she is still alive remains a mystery and Bertha had often said that the only way this bar the dam in was going to close was it would have to be pride from her dead hands and perhaps this is what has finally happened and the family sees no reason to continue to run a business that has likely not more than seven people a night coming the damn Dam in Wheeling is finito
