Boxing and football legend Carl Weathers is dead

     A two sports incredible athletes one for the ages has died the other day and the world is still flexing from the loss of Carl Weathers. The legendary former heavyweight champion known as Apollo Creed was a four-time heavyweight champion in the 80's and one of the best boxers of all time. Before he became a award-winning and championship boxer Carl Weathers was a star linebacker for the Oakland Raiders



during the John Madden dynasty teams of the '70s and very few players such as Carl Weathers has been able to perform an extreme high level in two sports. Carl Weathers entered boxing quickly won the World Championship and he's legendary known for his Feud and boxing title changes with Rocky Marciano. Carl Weathers was also an outstanding linebacker who was personally responsible for the Immaculate Reception as he was a linebacker that hit Terry Bradshaw's ball that bounced in the air and eventually found its arms into Franco Harris. Carl Weathers wasn't iconic image in the 70's and eighties before losing


his fourth championship ring to the popular and famous Rocky fighter. Several movies after his Sports career of which several include Action Jackson which was a sponge to a franchise and several sequels that made millions and millions of dollars Carl Weathers movie action career though was cut short when he was golfing and attacked and bitten by an alligator losing control of his left arm and he was

always embarrassed by having to be in a cast quickly retiring from Hollywood and then disappearing from the scene. We lost an iconic American figure the other day and Carl Weathers and thus far in 2024 he is the biggest name to die. Carl Weathers is dead at the age of 72
