Box office bombs worry film industry insiders

Nick Dumbgilio
The box office revenue for movies has tumbled this summer and is at its lowest point since the late nineties. Americans have shun movies this summer and the trend is likely to continue as movies seek out fewer and fewer original plots and instead rely on
franchises and other sequels or prequels that have already been told over and over again. This hackneyed approach to movie making is what is bringing about these dull box office numbers and when you have studios and an industry more worried about international markets then you have an industry that people will domestically reject.
This summer has seen some of the most brutal awful movies according to some and the number of super hero movies really needs to be curtailed as they tender nothing to the public but the same old cliche  comedies and acton crap. This shit will continue as long as six men control Hollywood and decide what goes into film and until this oligopoly is destroyed we will always see bad movies created only for a small youthful segment of the American population. Many of the movies are just computer generated as unmistakably having real explosions and crash scenes must be to hard or expensive for the studios. When the bottom line of profits comes before quality in everyday life it is o surprise that the movies today suck and are more based on popularity of either fictional or real character actors. The main draw to movies is keepi g up with a crush through television or celebrity magazines and a wish people could be themselves famous and on the silver screen because if these young folks actually had taste or were informed they would totally reject this junk that demands ten or more bucks from their wallets on a weekend. Since it is  young retards that keep going to these movies and support the awful Hollwood industry of 2014 the are primarily as fault for accepting this trash. Maybe they have finally women up and realized the con of Hollywood that rewards bad actors and others with cake walk gigs while you fork over a high tax for their continued high rolling media celebrated lifestyles. Perhaps though this summer the youth are tiring of this scam and are finally waking up to the fact that movies are a waste of time to what is really  important in "real" life.
