There are plenty of lies out in the media about Muslims and this book answers many of them. Doug Saunders points out many false accusations writers and those in the media and blogosphere say about Islamic people. He brings up these same misconceptions were also used on early Catholic communities and when they congregated and immigrated to Anglo-Saxon countries that were not use to diversity.
I appreciate books like this and authors who tackle the Islamaphobia that runs rampant and unanswered across this nation. These false claims by people need to be confronted calling all Muslims extremist and terrorists. Doug is a White man who knows the racism of his neighbors and the ugliness of their comments about newcomers to his English community. Mr Saunders knows there is nothing he can do about the eventual Pakistania-Indian Muslim takeover of the United Kingdom much like France can't do nothing about North African migration and Germany can from being overtaken by Turks. Europe will not be Eurabia but mainly Islamicized by various former nationalities that were created by colonialism. It is good to see some writers from West take a stand and answer some of these critics that fear this cultural change
