Mike Ditka has often thought his views mattered and with this in mind he decided to do a campaign commercial with the right-wing Billionaire Republican Bruce Rauner. Bruce is one of the most extreme candidates to come out of this blue state for some time and Mike Ditka is a man who pays more respect to those with money. The commercial though is utterly silly with Mike Ditka telling Bruce Rauner that he has to get tough with his oppenants as if he were some linebacker. I am not even sure this was a campaign commercial as if had nothing to do with Rauner's extreme views of eliminating unions and for someone like Mike Ditka that is suppose to be so pro-union at least when it comes to fellow old-timer players in the NFL this commercial stands out.
I guess for guys like Ditka union protections and pensions should only be available to athletes and professional sports figures. Mike Ditka is a complete moron and he is just playing with the cameras and microphones these idiots continue to put across his old mug knowing he is going to say something stupid for an earned airtime clip. I really wonder if the coach thought maybe he was interviewing a potential assistant coach or a server for his restaurant than talking with potentially the next governor of Illinois. This has to come across as one of the lamest and goofy celebrity campaign commercials in political history and I wonder how much donated money from rich folks went into the making of this classic gem and stuffing the pocketbooks of local media
