SubWay and Dunkin Donuts corporate sucess and community degradation for America

The following is answers given to every writer here at the Center Bear, Left Shark, and Right Bull about concerns and feelings of two of Americas most common retail outlet and what this means for our culture.

Jerry Palmer: Thank for the gathering. Subway popped up one day in my neighborhood and I thought it was some cool independent store until slowly little by little I started seeing this chain in other communities all over. I think after I saw the five hundredth store I actually decided to do some research and see what gives. This chain epitomizes the drive for profit and cheapness no frills food that people eat up.

These two institutions have made it difficult for other business to compete and have access to strip malls in the same location. This explains why they seem to have little competition nearby and dominate because of access

Jason Fool
This chain could only thrive on a more mobile America so busy to eat they pay little attention to how awful the product. Many bikers often stop at this place being very busy people on the go.
Larry Frost::  HahhhjDunkin Donuts. Great coffee. Their coffee has always been Sara Lee I believe and it is the coffee that makes this place. I don't know why Saa Lee didn't cut the middleman and just sell coffee direct with their own corporate chain.

Troy York:  D donuts has always been cheap and sugar bland donuts which are only fresh for a couple of hours and they hasn't baked donuts at location for years. In the neo-liberalist tradition they discovered it was cheaper to have a central processor and ship it all around to locations having the donuts reek of diesel.

How the fuck did Subway get to be everywhere?

Lester Bates
To me what was most sickening of this Jared Fogle Subway molestation fact was that Angela Jolie and Brad Pitt went immediately to a Subway the next day to be photographed and illume their support of this pervert.

Of all the sandwiches not one made me want to come back and crave for a return unlike most other submarine places. There is something just wrong with the food here. as far as Dunkin Donuts goes whenever I see a donut place which is not Dunkin donuts I go inside and buy a dozen. any place is preferable for donuts than this shithole.

Carl Olsen
Subway discovered a niche for even smaller places for an even quicker meal. This is the only reason for its sucess but wh people wouldn't support independent places for this crap is so etching to question and be a social critic. People should just not support a bad business like Subway.

Gino Frobel..yea remember the old commercials where the old pug kept getting up to make the donuts at three in the morning. Dukin Donuts doesn't have locations that makes any fresh Donuts anymore. Perhaps the quilt meant was too costly to repair for these cheap Indian owners.

Andy Cruz:
Getting back to Subway is it this brand is so popular and successful because it has a loyal customer base or is it there is just a death of outlets  that thrive because this chain has always paid lowest wages.

Gerald Jasper
The ability of this place to get franchises by people willing to pay corporate to open this place and have the name is insane. If  I had the money I would be brave enough to open and decide on my own name than buy everything from these two companies and hope the name recognition is enough to draw business.
Leroy Yost
I use to like Dunkin Donuts when they made their own donuts. Now they just ship it from a warehouse and it never gets there as fresh and it would just being made that minute. Subway sandwiches are the worse of any chain or independent sub shop I have ever eaten and it uses the cheapest ingredients one can find.
Alex Mousolpolous
This is what we need to get back too. Chains such as these are onl successful because of the minuscule wages and few workers it employees.how else could cruddy food eateries such as these expand and be everywhere. They are not the only chains but the two we want to bash often here at this blog.

Ned Bailey

The only time I have set foot in these places was to
Use toliet

The amount of advertising Subway and Dunkin spends should not be ignored and these companies clearly have been rewarded through this ability rough the media outlets with positive
Mentions when given a chance that ay appear random when it is not. These businesses
Stink.

Nobody ever released a study how many of these two franchises are Indian and Pakistani owned. I wonder if they even pay the workers anything or are they just illegals working off a debt to get them into Amwrica. I would be willing to bet that seventy percent of DD and Subway shops are Indo-pako owned.

Lee Park Kong
Unfortunately these places are popping up in Asia

Dunkin Donuts was likely a charming place when there was only a dozen locations catered in rural New England. what happened?

Herbert Gilbert: The real power of these franchises is their ability to buy
our local politicians and guarantee locations where they want it on the cheap. Subway and Dunkin Donuts has way too many locations everywhere and it is more ability of their line of credit than a actual sales or profits. They do not make any more sales than a Qunizos, Blimpie, Mr Submarine, or any other sandwich shop at these locations. There is no brand identity or following for Subway.

Big Ant

The shop da plop of the chase dumping downers who get it for real dissolve this lugnut
In the acid base of retail dumps of the past and present. I'd rather eat Subway breaking in the place sneaking a snickers from the vending machine before jamming it to a booth and sapping this fountain for lunch with that Jared bro child mother fucker. He cocksucker the van guard for a new chocolate elite.joe fromp.

These chains are hardly ever in elite neighborhoods or stretches of high valuable real estate. The eateries there are reserved for luxury lunches and high end restaurants and basically chains such Subway and Dunkin Dnuts serves as a reminder to the folks in middle America that you are nobody important and nothing special needs to go where you live.

Terry Blue
The slave wage compensation for Dunkin Donuts is horrible. I once knew a guy who had to work ten hours as a cabbie in addition to pulling overnighters at Dunkin Donuts. This is a chain where workers enjoy putting in long hours as miserable humans who pride themselves on work for low wages as some proud ethnic identity and worker.

Subway and Dunkin Donuts have efficiently learned the cheapest way t build a building and why all their stores have a uniformity boring look that are about as visually charming as an underground sewer system. These businesses only exist because they are a favorite of banking cartel system.

Lionel Wagner.
I recently  saw a Folgers cafe at a local gas station. These coffee makers need to open their own outlets and if they construct the buildings uniquely they can really hurt these hated business.

Ali Muhammed
Subway sandwiches have the worse breading  the business and there is no redeeming quality of this franchise except opportunities for people to own them and make tremendous profit

Gus Perkowski
Subway is the only fast food eatery where you can use a coupon and still spend more than ten bucks for essentially one sandwich, chips, and pop. This store has no overcost and adds nothing except soda and chip distribution. You can get anything at Subway that you can get at a rundown connivence store or old gas station. Subway has the mystic of these two dreg places on the street
