Mayor Tom Barrett of Milwaukee had his annual state of the city address and he faces tremendous backlash from organizers are furious that he approved 47 million of tax payer money to help fund the Milwaukee bucks arena and give more free stuff to wealthy billionaire owners who played hardball and threatened to leave the city. Common Grounds organizers promise they will remember Tom Barrett's give away to corporate elite and fund their stadium that mostly only they can afford to enjoy and catch many games of entertainment. A old White guy like Tom Barrett running Milwaukee is all that is wrong with our political system as the Milwaukee arena debate focused the issues that this mayor felt was important with all the problems in the city. As far as the owners of the Milwauee Bucks, men like them in the financial industry would never become billionaires without the complicity of politicians and local leaders allowing their hoarding and accumulation of dark money sround the world intointo capital investment opportunities. this old owl is running for his fourth term but faces serious challengers this time around and by a public outraged how surreptitious local officials and this mayor was trying to get tax-payers money diverted so the Milwaukee Bucks owner can get a new stadium with as little of their own revenues as possible to build the project. The mobilization effort and fight against the sports industrial complex stealing public money for their revenue and ad stream needs to be delivered in this upcoming Milwaukee mayors race. Only by defeating and giving the boot to these elected officials will this egregious inequality virus be contained. This virus and fraud has been successfully spread and promoted through ties within big time sports and cable monopoly networks and it is a shame that Milwaukee didn't lead the fight telling these sports owners and the millions skimped off everyday citizens by the leech business class families of the likes of Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry's of the world who use sports to fatten their pocketbooks and holdings.
