Lester Grobstein hosts a boring over-night radio show in Chicago where he and his callers recite players names and stats from the sixties and seventies. Often though some callers will try to be a Dave Zirin and bring up the important social topics and issues hitting sports and how basically corporations have basically gone to all lengths to monetize and connected their corporation and company to the game. les benefits from this system with a sweet gig where he can discuss what year Pete Rose was a rookie and how many carries Jim Brown had in 1962. Les Grobstein has his dream job and he has expressively warned callers that politics will not be a part of his show and when he is on election night he will say nada about the election. Guy Baldwin and myself will somehow bring up politics this night on his show just to spite this sports shit who thinks only sports matters in life and uses it to distract people from real issues that affect the nation.
Les Grobstein poops in his pants when a caller tried bringing up political situations in his beloved sports and the past month has been difficult for Les Grobstein having to talk about the national anthem controversy and the Colin Kapernick situation. Our own Guy Baldwin tries calling him a lot and bringing up political discussion as he often bitches how we need more sports hosts willing to be Dave Zirin and less ones willing to be ahhh Les ...Grobstein. Les Grobstein can never be Dave Zirin because he shivers at the thought of saying the wrong thing and having his stellar over-night radio career cut at an early end and the idea of not being able to talk about the Baltimore Orioles pitching staff in 1968 and their four twenty game winners is as frightening as seeing a crazy Cougar on a walking path. Grobstein though pointed out that the NFL use to not have 
players out for national anthem and it was the department of Defense that insist this start in 2009 and the NFL should keep the fuck faces who hate this country inside their sweaty smelly locker room until after the anthem iv over so assholes like Kaepernick can't make a political issue and hatred for Old Glory known to media sports reporters
