One day a few weeks back I opened up the Chicago newspaper and saw a huge chunk of page two devoted to Kris Bryant and his wife all decked out in their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. The media company made sure to point out that Mr. Bryant's tuxedo was Cedric's Custom Apparel and the unlovely bride of Bryantstein was wearing a wedding dress by Ines Desan to. I had to check and rub my eyes in amazement of this almost full page story of the wedding of the Chicago Cub third basemen slugger to his sweetheart Jessica Delp. There were many more practical and important things going on in the world on this day but I was aghast to what I was seeing so displayed on mainstream media and in the news paper. Apparently the Chicago Tribune thinks royalty and baseball need to be combined and whether the Chicago Cubs or these apparel companies had paid a royalty to be on page two of this newspaper. I had to turn the paper around to make sure this was page two in the front and not the sports section. Again I was aghast and wondered the mentality of the editor as per why he would think news that some Chicago Cub baseball player and his wedding should be so visually displayed in importance for the city of Chicago such as local crime and politics or even the big international news of the day. A Kris Bryant should have a wedding picture displayed on the fourth or fifth page of the sports section or mentioned in sports related web sites. There is no reason for this man to appear on page two and all it was is easy and another advertising opportunity for his team and the organization
