Kurdish rebels likely bombed their own peace protest the other day in a twin blast of suicide bombings that rocked the casbagh in Ankara. Turkey has been fighting Kurdish separatists for decades and its own industrial military machine in combination with America's own resists any possibilities as the West and NATO play these two Middle East groups against one another. This bombing has startled the public in Turkey as this country is on the brink of all out civil war. The government of Turkey and Islamisist president Recep Erodegen have blamed ISIS for the bombing but many point the finger at his own forces wanting to distract the opposition group in the upcoming elections that may further erode his power.

Massive bombings at Kurdish peace rally in Turkey
Ali Muhammed
Just last June there was a similar bombing at a peace protest between Turkish and Kurdish peace activists that killed about thirty people. The evil Edogen is hoping that his party gains mass majority status again and he is hoping to draw major voting from the nationalists who want to see little peace and more fighting against the Kurds who they feel threaten the current national sovereignty and borders of Turkey. Erdogan is seeking to extend the executive powers of his presidency, and while he denies it, opponents believe he has deliberately re-ignited the conflict with the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, to shore up his party's support. Erdogan has asserted that Kurdish rebels are a bigger threat to Turkey than the Islamic State group. The chaos that is currently being seen in Syria has already spilled over next door to Turkey.
