Peter King
is a sports writer trying desperately to stay relevant in to days sports media world. Sports Illustrated help him establish a new on-line presence as fans continue to gravitate to sites like SB Nation and Bleacher Report. People came to realize that the average fan can do the same writing that over-paid professionals like Mr King, Jay Mariotti, Rick Reilly or Rick Telender. Writers on these sites don't have to worry about keeping a straight line in order to protect their perfect journalist gig. Few people will care to gravitate towards the web sites of long established sports writers as there are countless more entertaining sports bloggers out in the Internet. Jay Mariotti was one of the first sports writers to make the transition to the web and it failed miserably for AOL and I am sure King's new all football site will too. There are already way too much sports sites to distract men from real issues facing their future and nation and having another wealthy baby booming asshole pushing another football site is the last thing the internet needs right now. Peter King needs to be like the political Peter King and get into the real world. A world where your pathetic life does not revolve around large black men grabbing each other down on the turf. Sports writers are just stupid typical American men.
