Ed Glaser is James Howard Kuntsler's rival

Ed Glaesar is some Harvard prick that thinks the future and world belongs to ritzy elites in tall skyscrapers. Someone like Glaeser believes in meritocracy and inequality of daily life where the wealthy can live far and in this case higher than the little people. James Howard Kuntsler has called his ass out several times about Glaeser's ridiculous notions about skyscrapers and how we should continue to build more of them for all the wealthy folks to live in over suburban mansions. E d Glaser is old school and believes rule only at and for the top and so this fits nicely with his skyscraper dreams of an urban future. This sharp dressing and wine sipping freak looks like he would fit more in the past than the future. Kunstler has called him and skyscrapers out for the unsustainable they will cause for cities and the maintenance will be impossible to achieve over the years. Of course Glaser knows little of maintenance and real work outside the lecture halls of Harvard. It takes alot of work to repair and take care of a shitty three story building in the suburbs yet alone a major skyscraper and evidently Glaser likely thinks this solution will be solved just by having the rich congregate in one urban area. If Glaser had any sense or really cared about inequality in society that he claims in his writings he would be a proponent of spread the wealth and not the concentrating of wealth in a few select cities. Mid-size cities are way more sustainable and less costly than big cities and the principle cause of inequality is because jag offs like Glaser think only a few areas are worth the time and investment. Next time I will have a review of this prick's book and more on how this man irritates the great Kuntsler.
