Twinkies came back to fuel smelling petrol stations and over-priced 7-11 stores a few months back and I have tried several of their products. There is clearly a major difference from the last company's products and this new hostess and one can tell immediately just from opening the package. All of the toppings stick to the plastic bag and you lose the great quality top and smushness that you use to be able to come to expect. The Twinkies don't even look the same and what they use to as this new Greek owned Hostess is just slashing costs and total quality of the cake. The brand is being completely tanked with this new incarnation and especially the twinkie is what is really more awful in quality. Not that twinkies were such a great product and one of the downfalls of this was just a change of consumer habits and the cost of transporting these items to gas stations all over. From my sources at one of these resurrected plants they are making people work brutal twelve hour shifts and they can shut down workforce for a week at managements will.

This has really become an awful product and at about 1.89 for two shitty yellow cakes these are some of the worse processed food items that exist in America. it will be only a matter of time before this new hostess goes bankrupt as saving costs at the expense of taste quality is no way to resurrect a American iconic brand.
