Taxi companies want to exclude competition to their monopolies

Terry Blue

Chicago cab drivers are in a tis upset that they are regulated more than up and coming ride share companies. In a lawsuit the other day Chicago's taxis states that the city was not compiling these new start ups with the same safety and licensing demands that these taxis face from city hall. Cab companies argue that these new fees are minuscule to what they have to pay and the problem is that taxi companies know their days are numbered as yuppies seek out services from Uber, Lyft ,and sidecar. If taxi companies actually hired Americans or drivers that spoke proper English they might not be facing this stiff competition. taxis are a monopoly of the third world whose drivers often verbally abuse their customers and cleaning of their taxis quite literally took a backseat to their pathetic repulsive operations.
Taxis do not like that these new companies that serve the tech people but should ultimately serve everyone ion a free-market and the fact that the driver and rider can actually negotiate a price instead of having a set price. These bastards from Uganda and Libya come to our country and want an easy gig and expect us o bend to their monopolies of ferrying people across town like they are OPEC or something. Fuck them silly bastards and their native dress that many of us find distressing having to share our personal space. If they don't lie it let them go and tell the last king of Scotland in their native Ugandaland. A couple of corrupt asshole alderman are taking the taxi drivers side in being Alderman Anthony Beale and Edmund Burke. How much do you think these taxi companies have paid to these pricks campaigns over the years. these two jokers say that ride share programs are taking money from the pockets of hard working cabbies . Hogwash. Bullshit. it has been the other way around that these illiterate ,lazy drivers from Jordon have been taking money from hard working American citizens in overcharging for their bad service and reckless driving over the years. They don't want any alternatives to side step their monopolistic nature in making a living driving drunk twenty somethings a couple of blocks home from the bar. Like I have been saying all these years about the 100 ooo k to have a medallion taxi monopoly all these years. If they were doing such a good service you would never hear so many brutal stories about taxi services and any alternative to shut these foreigners out would be a good thing. This is the Taxi hater and be good and walk instead of getting in a car with a total stranger from a strange land.
