Fillmore is that lame sea turtle in the Sherman Lagoon comic strip and aside from the fact that he likes to read books there is no other redeeming quality with this
character in this comic strip. I have often wondered why the hell a shark would even hang around with a turtle but then again this is Sherman's lagoon and there are some dim characters. How Fillmore is even able to have books in the water is another discussion but there was a time when Fillmore was annoyed that it seemed like everyone had their own web site and voice through the Internet. He then was persuaded to start his own website and was very disenchanted that he was getting absolutely no views aside from his own. This was something that we here at the Left Shark noticed and were dismayed as well several years ago. When we started to get maybe a couple dozen a day on a regular basis Google changed their algorithms or something and we were back to our two hits per day. Very disappointing. We can feel Filmore's pain with our own attempts to have a voice through the web. Well anyway we are back and you can count on insightful international posts followed by absolute absurd unrelated junk the next post.
