Like most of the female species the female midge needs others blood to feed on and they do attack any living organism they come across including other insects which I find totally wacky. These critters do not pierce the skin like Mosquitos, as they instead use their scissor like mouths to actually cut it open thus the burning and longer itchy feeling that can make sleep most difficult and cause reactions to a e people. This fucking midge actually adds its own chemicals, which is eerie, to help ensure quicker blood flow for its meal. The biting midge has ruined many elitist vacations from people traveling back and forth to the tropics and the midge just has an ugly ghastly wind appearance that makes us fortunate it cannot survive in the heartlands of America. We haves outs forest pests and Asian migrant insects to worry abut than having this tropic flesh cutters and suckers. Luckily insect repellant will make ese go away so if your not shy bout adding more chemicals on and in your body and must travel to Brazil then make sure you expose yourself.
