Just what the world needed a Super Mario book

Ned Baily
Jeff Ryan is a young man who came of age and obsessed with the stupid looking Nintendo character called Super Mario. In this lame dicks book called "Super Mario How Nintendo conquered America" the bad writer recalled the important events that lead to the rise of this once trading cards Japanese company and how some guys with very Japanese names made this a large corporation and the image Mario ubiquitous in the eighties. There was never anything cute or compelling about all these games despite the lage amount of sales basically from a bored suburban teenage demographic. Guys like Jeff Ryan think this character and idea of Mario is so outstanding and he evokes everything how the arcade hit Donkey Kong developed and this Japanese company rode this mario character through a countless number of really boring and stupid games. basically the technology was new and the power of the console in keeping young men addicted and a reasojn to avoid real life was the mainreason this lame company and rupugant Mario character was nanything to remember. Nintendo was not shy to put this character everywhere in some bizare hope and idea to make the brand as large as Disney. I never could understand the draw of this crudly drawn character nor I gues the popularity of it aside from the possible fact that is was given free to all these consoles when their parents made the purchase. This book goes through all of Nintendos battles from lawsuits from movie companies to its battles with rival competitors like Sega and Sony. There was no long term real impact on our culture from mario nor Nintendo except for the fact some dweebs years later might wear a t shirt with the logo many years after the company's peak. Only proud dipsticks like Jeff Ryan appealed and identified with Nintendo products as they really had nothing elsse in their youth. The days of Nintendo though I think are done along with this boring character and game of this rascal plumber and his mushroom kingdom. Only a people like the post World War japs and Americans could embrace boring videography and game slike this as affluence and technology gave its ideling youth no other really purpose in life except to be a consumer for mindless products such as the Nintendo game sysytem anfd the dreadful Mario abnd Luigi character that they tried to put everywhere.
