Casey Kasem died yesterday and with his death comes accolades and love of this very talented man. The way he counted down the music hits was incredible with his amazing voice and ability to connect the fan to the musical act and asking. Casey Kasem hosted America's top forty for some incredible forty years and no be came close to ever attaining this awesome easy radio gig. As long as Casey Kasem and his audible talent was around no one was going to even get a chance to do a similarly easy countdown hits show. 
Casey Kasem was so awesome I am surprised he didn't say fuck it Im going to make my own record and just declare it a top ten hit. The energy Casey brought to introducing a song never fluctuated whether it was an Elvis number one or just some lame brain Paul Anka 40th ranked song. Case Kasem was so awesome and I would love how he would tell an early story of the singing celebrity bringing us back to a time someone said they would never make it in show business.
