   John Michael Greer appeared on James Howard Kuntsler talked together on Kuntsler's podcast and how the rich will try everything they can to prop up the system that they have a vital interest in keep running. This system is only basis of their very own power and control.  These two great talkers spoke about the collapse of the American culture and rackets that have entered all facets of society. The failing of the infrastructure of this country and the fantasies of a space program were often discussed at length. The misconception that many had about a future for mankind transversing the galaxies and stars sums up the delusional thinking Americans have thanks to Hollywood and media culture.   We haven't gone to the moon since 1972 but this hasn't stopped many elites from investing in ridiculous space projects that they think can make space travel profitable. This is just one example of many dishonest misleading to American people including energy independence and the promise of  fracking. The stupidy of Americans in science fiction and actually thinking someday they will get off this rock called Arth was laughed and pointed out as part of the delusional thinking we get from a media all about movies and celebrities. They predict more fracking failures and bankruptcies as it becomes obvious that investment in fracking will be more costly than any drizzly oil they are able to bring up after spending energy and money to drill.
   The struggles of the middle class are actually struggles to maintain an extravagant lifestyle that only burning half a billion years worth of stored fossil fuels was able to provide to people lucky enough to be born in the United States. The eventual collapse of the American empire is for seen by these two peak oil forecasters and the break up of nations and states will be a result of see economic struggles to come. John Michael Greer like Kuntsler is a great fiction and non-fiction writer of issues related to energies evaporation and depletion and how this will affect the global community. The deceptions four elites that we will continue to live a suburban lifestyle and hog up to twenty five percent of the worlds energy is something the rest of the world is no longer willing to accept. They talked a bit about Russia and the BRICK nations and the eventual development of an alternative to the dollar as the worlds currency and potential to end US manipulation of currency to keep this under-funded project called America running to Wal Marts and Home Depots on the weekends.I still say though John Michael Greer is one of the scariest looking fuckers out there
