NFL announcer Phil Simms announced he will no longer use the term Washington Redskin when calling Washington's football games on televised games in the future. Tony Dungy had announced a similar expression some time back and these brave moves by the sportscasters of NFL football will be an extremely effective method of delivering more punishment and exposure of arrogance of Redskin owner Daniel Snydor. As another National Football Season opens up another year of this nickname term for an old deragatory term pioneers once referred to Natives of North America continued to be used and printed on jackets and hats. The imbeciles at the league have thus failed a plan either to force and entice Daniel Snydor to make this team change and demand that he does will not slow down and end. It will be interesting to see if other announcers will follow the lead and refuse to use this outdated name that has long needed a change for sometime.
The longer this football league allows the name Washington Redskin the more out of sink and antique its attitudes seem to the general public and this can do nothing but harm the league further.
