Steve Zouski was some white boxing bum with a 25-9 record in Novernber of 1986 who had the misfortune of having an asshole manager that booked him against a very young and lean Mike Tyson. Whoever booked that match for old Steve needed to be in the shit having the can beat out of him in that ring. Steve Zouski was a human punching bag for about nine minutes of pure agony but I have to give credit for hi in not showing any evidence of having the hell whipped out of him in this match back in 1986.
The great thing about Youtube is that you can practically can view nay past boxing match in the recorded history of this great yet unfortunate dead sport. Mike Tyson stuck his fist many times in the rib cage of Steve Zouski and Steve's ability to withstand the pressure and last into the third round has to be one of the amazing boxing upsets and stories of the century. Mike Tyson would go 19-0 on his way to the world championship while Steve Zouski was unquestionably on his way to the hospital. I liked after the knockdown how he was up and moving around again in circles like he was ready for another fight. What a joke. Many, meaner, stronger, and more glamorous boxers though went out early in first rounds against Mike Tyson during these months and years many many moons ago. I was surprised by Steve's efforts and for one second I was interested in checking out some of his previous fights and victories instead of the usual Mike Tyson, Muhammed Ali, or George Foreman fights. Just for a second I thought about it.
