Bob cat hunting denied by outgoing Illinois Governor

Jake Glass
Illinois House members had tried to get bobcat hunting back on the books for Illinois after being outlawed in 1971 as the numbers dwindled dramatically in the Southern portion of the state. The house passed a resolution to resume the carnage against beautiful cats by a disgusting margin of 90 to 20 something and luckily one of the final acts of Governor Quinn was to veto the bill to legalize bobcat hunting again in the state of Illinois. We are blessed to have these majestic and exquisite animals in the state and they have been imperiled
for years for hunters and trappers to threaten this species in their desire for trophies and profits. In humane blood-sport zealots hunting lobbyists  such as Morrisonville  hick Republican rep by the name of  Wayne Rosenthal tried very hard to get this bill passed. Quinn realized the bobcat is an important part of the Illinois wildlife ecosystem and allowing human activity to disturb it because hicks downstate who are bored is not part of the equation in protecting and thriving the wildlife. The bobcat is coming back and the last thing conservationists want to see is a bunch of illiterate assholes again put these wild cats onto the threatened list because of their insatiable greed for easy income and fur trading. The pricks will just have to find other things for personal pride than killing small cats from a hundred yards away with high-powered rifles.
