One of the things that keeps me up at night is trying to decide what two subjects or objects are cooler. Last night is was trying to determine who was cooler Neil De Grassse Tyson or detective Harris on the Barney Miller show.
Both are similar looking and acting to a point although one is a real person and be is a fictional character. Here are those who do think that Neil De Grasse Tyson is a fictional character though to made up from the mainstream media eons ago. Detective Harris was played b Ron Glass who I don't know if he was a cool or not. The character though came about as a pompous over-dressed snob who wanted to be a writer n stead of a cop. His acted like he was the CPU try's best dresser although he always wore seventies clothes. Like
Harris, Tyson is on television alot dressed sharply playing an Astrophysicist of some planetarium. He sounds smart of television, radio, and his books and podcast. Tyson also irritates religious fundamentalists basically telling them their religion is full of shit. Both are eloquent speakers and Harris is always making the old episodes on reruns of Barney Miller more interesting than they should be in 2015. Without Harris there would be no reason to watch this seventies classic program while there can always be some smart sounds g space scientist educating the public. Harris is cooler than Neil DeGrasse Tyson although Neil would be a great modern day combination of Harris and Dedtrich when they do a movie version of Barney Miller which I think will happen by 2017
