I have the sad news of reporting that the Miller High Life guy Wendell Middlebrooks is dead at the age of thirty six. The Miller High Life guy was a favorite of this blogger through the years as we covered him perhaps as no other blog company ever did. Wendell made if fun again to watch commercials as his portrayal of a delivery truck driver who didn't like the high prices of other beers. never minding that the beer he promoted from corporate culture is complete piss compared to superior home brewed craft expensive stuff that he likely would of preferred in real life. Wendell Middlebrooks was mentioned much in my past Mort Downey and Drew Peterson Rod Blagojevich blogs because I thought this actor could become somebody some day,
maybe another Bill Cosby minus the rape allegations. he had the best smile and funniest bald head I have ever seen in the commercials and in recent years he made several appearances in programs that I care little about. Wendell Middlebrooks was cool and he will be missed. he died of a blood clot to his lungs and the pathetic fuck never did go on a diet as my numerous fan letters encouraged him of going as unfortunely the Miller High Life guy did have a tenacity of high life with booze and pussy flowing available to him as a semi-celebrity. I remember seeing him in some downtown Milwaukee bar appearance he made and the number of trips he made outside in the Miller truck with young ladies was startling to see. I mean a man of his size you would think would not have that much energy. I often wish I had camera phone back then to capture the image of him dressed in the phony uniform in actual live person. Wendell Middlebooks is dead at the young ripe age of 36 and I will have a expensive dogfish wheat barley in his honor.
