I like radio programs in small markets that try to act like the right wing big boys like a Mark Levin and a Rush Limbaugh pushing corporate viewpoints, sports, and misinformation to the public. I happened to catch Peoria's afternoon hosts Scott Robbins and Jamie Markley on the airwaves of WMBD, After a half hour talking about the Bradly braves and how they have to pay a head coach more to get the quality pay-for-play basketball players out of high school these idiots showed what Red Eye radio hosts they try to be with their right wing talk on the economy and culture. what really infuriated these idiots was something called a twizzler challenge and how some are saying that this will be the new ice bucket challenge phenomenal for this spring. The thought of two guys eating twizzlers onto they almost appear to be smooching disgusts these right wing homophobes so much and they talked about how stupid it was and how people who say this will be condemned by liberals. Central Illinois is full of right wing religious whack jobs that if not listening to rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity's national show will tune into local wingnuts like these guys who will keep the republican, big-business, pro-sports industrial complex funding, and other anti-big government voice going through the backers of right wing radio advertising that is directed towards stupid programs such as this one by Markley and Robbins. so much money goes into advertising to support programs such as these idiots from corporate culture as they seek to have the narrative and ideas seem to be the norm and keep their information not seen as the political market nonsense that it truly is. perhaps if twizzler was buying advertising space they would not of criticized the notion of a twizzler challenge for charities. I will have to add these idiots to podcasting list and keep track of what they say from time to time. these are media guys put up by sports entertainment industries to use their shows to push the idea that over-paid professional sports is important in our culture and that we must follow.
