Uhhm season four episode 19 of Hogan's Heroes I believe is the dog episode. I think it may maybe it was season three episode four. This is the episode where a mutt somehow comes into the procession of the guys at barracks 13 and they somehow lose a important piece of film as the dog does what comes naturally for a dog. It buries the film and they have to basically coax it into digging the film back up again for them to give it to a visiting spy. What a great episode and around this time the writers of this program had a hard time finding up new ways for unique episodes.
I have my townhouse set up with two huge flat screens of old programs going on at all times in the upstairs and downstairs and the other day this episode cam up in the automatic play. In the past I have taken pictures to pet stores trying to find a mutt for sale that resembles this gorgeous dog to no avail and have been very frustrated in my search for this dream dog. If I ever found a similar dog I would of named it Laboue out of this show as he was the one that seemed to bond best with this mutt. I wondered how a mutt would of just popped up in a POW camp anyway with supposedly all the German Shepherds running around and clearly the dog would of been chewed to pieces before it found its way to a little Frenchmen's lap. Whatever and I quit trying to understand this program a long time ago.
Hogan's Heroes and other programs were way entertaining than the violent shit and police boredom you find today on television as basically every fucking program is a chick or cop program.
